Quantum Information Science is now a well-established field of research, with interests spanning many traditional physics disciplines ‒ atomic and optical physics, quantum optics, many-body and low-temperature physics, condensed matter physics and solid state ‒ and with frontiers reaching into computer science and engineering.
The Asia-Pacific Conference and Workshop on Quantum Information Science 2015 (APCWQIS 2015) entertains submissions across the full range of subfields. It carries forward a series of conferences and workshops initiated by a pair of workshops in Singapore, in 2001 and 2003, and the first conference in Taiwan in 2004. Subsequent events have been held in various locations around the Pacific Rim: Singapore on three more occasions, twice in Korea, once each in Australia, China, and Malaysia, and again in Taiwan in 2014.
APCWQIS 2015 is the first event to be held in New Zealand. The Local Organizing Committee, the Dodd-Walls Centre for Photonic and Quantum Technologies, and the physics departments of The University of Auckland and the University of Otago encourage submissions to the Conference and look forward to welcoming participants to Auckland, New Zealand.
The conference programme is now available, please note there has been some changes to the presentation length. Please check your presentation.
